In this year’s parent survey Våga Visa, Montessoriförskolan Pärlugglan once again ranks among the very best in Sollentuna. 100% of parents stated they are satisfied with the preschool, and across all survey areas we achieved an outstanding 99% overall result.

Our preschool environment is designed to spark curiosity. We have a wonderful outdoor yard that encourages play and activities, and our indoor spaces are carefully planned for creativity, collaboration, and calm. We also go on regular outings—to the forest, playgrounds, and sometimes the theatre—to inspire imagination and a joy for new experiences.

We welcome around 30 children, divided into two groups. Six dedicated educators with diverse expertise—preschool teachers, Montessori teachers, and child carers—ensure that every child is met with close, personal attention.

The preschool is beautifully situated in a quiet residential area in central Sollentuna. Green spaces surround the neighborhood, and it’s just a three-minute walk to Sollentuna Center, where commuter trains and buses are easily accessible.

Departments

At Montessori Preschool Pärlugglan, our older children come together in the Stora Ugglan (“Big Owl”) department, where children aged 3–5 spend their days in three playful groups: the Little Owls, the Tawny Owls, and the Eagle Owls. Four dedicated teachers are always close at hand to support play, learning, and community.

At the same time, Miniugglan (“Little Owl”) is home to around 10 children between the ages of 1 and 3, where two caring teachers create a safe and stimulating environment tailored to the youngest children’s curiosity and needs.
